I completely forgot to mention in yesterday's podcast that I was going to post a photo of two of my very scary ancestors in honor of this very spooky day. Here they are!
Aren't they a fright??? Actually that's two of my sisters made up for Halloween several years ago. I understand that they really scared the neighborhood kids! (And I promised not to reveal their names...)

I love your wonderful podcasts--always fun and interesting to listen to!! I find that I'm always looking forward to what is coming next. Keep up the good work!! Karen from Ca
I am listening to your post as I amble my way home to Lapeer. I am enjoying remembering the costumes I made my DD when she was young. Spanish Dancers, Mermaids, Disney Characters, Gypsies, Princesses.
This year my grandson (age 2-1/2 ) is going to be WOODY from toy story complete with a horse for her lower half. I found the horse part of the costume at my sisters second hand shop. No we did not make the costume ourselves as we had in the past but the little Bugger now tells us what he wants to be for HALLOWEEN.
My name is Ruthann, but family and good friends usually call me 'thann. I am a wife, and a mother to one fantastic young man. In my former life I was an instructional designer. Now I fill my days with crafts of all sorts, reading (mostly mysteries), and cooking. I am the designer of the world-famous Mirkwood Designs templates. I am also a vocalist and fingerstyle guitarist and the music you hear in my podcast is performed by me.
