You already know that we're really big on traditions at our house. Yesterday we celebrated Saint Nicholas Day. Happily, Teddy was home for the day, so his shoes, shown sitting outside his bedroom door, were filled with candy.
What interesting holiday traditions do you have? If you don't have any, it's not too late to start some today!
i love your st nicholas day tradition! if our sons still lived at home i think that i would give that one a try. i guess our only tradition is making bleenies (potato pancakes) and bacon for our christmas day breakfast every year. we all love them and only make them on christmas which makes them something special to look forward to each year.
My name is Ruthann, but family and good friends usually call me 'thann. I am a wife, and a mother to one fantastic young man. In my former life I was an instructional designer. Now I fill my days with crafts of all sorts, reading (mostly mysteries), and cooking. I am the designer of the world-famous Mirkwood Designs templates. I am also a vocalist and fingerstyle guitarist and the music you hear in my podcast is performed by me.
