Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee Redwork Stitched!

Yesterday I drafted the redwork pattern for Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, and this afternoon I stitched it. I think it turned out well, and is a nice addition to my Alice in Wonderland redwork design set. You can find the entire set of FREE Alice in Wonderland redwork designs BY CLICKING HERE. (Scroll down the page for the AIW patterns.) The link is to my Mirkwood Designs Projects page and there are a lot of other free and fun projects.
 Happy redworking!

  1. I was so thrilled to see this. Did you sell this pattern at one time? It seems to me I paid for it way back , 10-15 years ago. I'm so happy to find a new block. Thank you!

  2. Hi, cq4fun! I am happy you like this design. I didn't offer a redwork of this before now, but the original John Tenniel illustrations for Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-glass are in the Public Domain, and I know other redwork patterns have been offered years ago. I have several more AIW redwork blocks done and am just about finished quilting a red and white Alice quilt using the blocks from Alice in Wonderland. I am planning a separate similar blue and white quilt using the redwork blocks (although I will stitch them in blue) for illustrations from Through the Looking-glass. The Tweedles illustration is from that book, so it will be in the second quilt.

  3. Hello I just wanted to thank you for your kindness with all of your free redwork patterns. I love the Alice patterns.I found you through a pinterest post today.

  4. Thank you so much, Raewyn! I am happy that people are enjoying my patterns enough to share on Pinterest. I hope you make something wonderful with my designs and share photos with me!
