Alice in Wonderland Papercut

Podcast listener Anne gave me a heads up about the fabulous papercuts of blogger Cindy Ferguson. Right now she has a beautiful free Alice in Wonderland papercut template on her blog. I'm going to try my hand at it today and if it's not too embarrassing, I'll post a photo later.

CLICK HERE to go to Cindy's blog -- you'll be amazed at her work! Also, she has a video tutorial on how she does papercutting, and that gave me enough courage to give it a try.

EDITED: OK, so I tried my hand at my very first papercut, and it didn't turn out as badly as I had anticipated. Here it is. It's a little raggedy, but I had fun with the new (to me) technique! Check out Cindy's blog and give it a try!

  1. Good job! You did excellent!

The other Alice stuff is in this book:

But I think I'm going to sell some of them on my Etsy store too!

  2. Wow! That turned out great! I can picture a quilt with alternating blocks of your redwork Alice in Wonderland embroidery and blocks of these paper cut designs appliqued on.

  3. Great job!! I love Cindy's work!!
